Crocodile Boots

One gorgeous autumn day, I had a delightful conversation I had with one of my six-year old students and a co-teacher.

Sunny-teacher: Andy, are you wearing alligator boots?
Andy: No!
Me: How about dinosaur boots?
Andy: Noooo!
Sunny-teacher: Are they monster boots?
Andy: Noooooooo!
Sunny-teacher: Andy, what kind of boots are they?
Andy: Crocodile boots!
Me: What's the difference between alligators and crocodiles?
Andy: Alligators are girls! Crocodiles are boys!
